What You'll Do:
- Lead & Inspire: Oversee the overall success of the banking center by managing a high-performing team and ensuring top-notch customer service.
- Drive Growth: Create and implement sales strategies to increase deposits, loans, merchant services, and treasury management. Generate new business by pursuing self-sourced leads and building lasting client relationships.
- Build Connections: Network, prospect, and develop referral sources to expand our client base. Cultivate relationships with business owners and decision-makers to enhance our bank's market presence.
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in civic and community organizations to boost the bank’s image and market share.
- Manage & Mentor: Supervise branch personnel, provide coaching, and ensure exceptional internal and external customer experiences. Delegate operational tasks and uphold branch procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage effective sales strategies and achieve budgeted goals.
- Acquire and grow a portfolio of business relationships.
- Promote bank products and services to target customers.
- Maintain a strong presence in the community and build strategic partnerships.
- Analyze team performance and provide targeted coaching and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with banking laws, policies, and regulations.
Who You Are:
Skills and Abilities
- Customer Service & Sales Skills: Strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales, with a passion for outside sales and prospecting.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Banking Knowledge: In-depth understanding of deposit and credit banking products.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM platforms and other banking systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate and lead effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Problem-Solving: Capability to quickly evaluate and solve problems with tact and diplomacy.
Education and Experience
- Education: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a financial institution in roles such as a business development banker or bank manager, with proven success in consultative sales or business-to-business sales.
- Supervisory Experience: Preferred but not required.
